Stesicoro square is one of the most popular squares of the historical center of Catania, both for its central location and for the proximity to the typical market of “Fera o’Luni”
Stesicoro square is crossed and divided into two by the main street of the centre, Via Etnea.
On the other side of the square , beneath the road, about 10 meters deep, it is visible part of the Roman amphitheatre brought to light in the twentieth century.
